JAPANESE BREAKFAST ON TOUR by Lucienne Nghiem

Japanese Breakfast’s youthful energy spreads joy to crowds on first shows back on tour- from coast to coast.

Michelle Zauner, the beautiful creative mind behind Japanese Breakfast, is back on tour! And Fever Dreams Magazine was there to document it in Richmond, Virginia. Enjoy these colorful photos from the night photographed by Lucienne Nghiem (@luxxienne).  

The charming band played an eye-catching set full of graceful string instrumentals, drums, horns, and vocals that filled the room with dazzling energy. This show took place on Thursday night at The National, a Richmond favorite.

Mannequin Pussy opened the evening with a mesmeric rock set with tunes from their May ep release titled, "Perfect”. 

Fans were so excited to see their favorite artist at such a special venue to the city. As soon as Michelle and her band danced onto the stage, everyone’s eyes in the crowd lit up with admiration. They played songs from their latest record release, “Jubilee”. Paired with the enchanting performance, the second show on the Japanese Breakfast Tour sounded and felt like a dream.
